The follow-up »In Real Time« features a new line-up of founding members pianist Renee Rosnes, drummer Allison Miller, trumpeter Ingrid Jensen and bassist Noriko Ueda with two new members, tenor saxophonist Nicole Grover and flautist Alexa Tarantino.
The set, consisting of eight tracks, presents convincing originals by the band members as well as cover versions of pieces by Lyle Mays (»Slink«) and Wayne Shorter (»Penelope«).
