Foster, Ronnie - Two-Headed Freap - LP 180 Gr. (Blue Note Vinyl Classic Series)

Organist Ronnie Foster was discovered by Blue Note Records after appearing on the 1970 album Alive! by guitarist Grant Green. In 1972 he made his Blue Note debut with the jazz-funk classic Two Headed Freap. The lively set featured funky covers by Al Green and Wilson Pickett, as well as compelling originals like "Mystic Brew," which was later sampled by A Tribe Called Quest on their hip-hop classic "Electric Relaxation." This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition was mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
