​ScoLoHoFo - The supergroup consisting of guitarist John Scofield, saxophonist Joe Lovano, bassist Dave Holland and drummer Al Foster - first played together as a band in 1999, but the musicians' connections stretch back decades. Scofield, Holland and Foster were all former members of Miles Davis' groups and appeared together on Joe Henderson's 1993 Miles tribute So Near, So Far. Part of Scofield's acclaimed early '90s quartet, Lovano was featured on a number of acclaimed Blue Note albums, including Time On My Hands and Meant To Be.

Recorded in 2002, the masterful album Oh! by ScoLoHoFo is a dynamic 11-song set that oozes camaraderie and covers a wide range of stylistic terrain. Each of the band members contributed several original compositions, including Lovano's declarative opener "Oh!", Holland's expansive "The Winding Way", Foster's tender "Bittersweet" and Scofield's driving "Shorter Form".
The Tone Poet Audiophile Vinyl Reissue Series grew out of Blue Note President Don Was's admiration for the exceptional audiophile Blue Note LP reissues presented by Music Matters. What brought Joe Harley, aka the "Tone Poet," on board to curate and oversee a series of re-releases for Blue Note labels.
Extreme attention to detail has gone into getting these re-releases right in every way possible, from the jacket graphics and print quality, to the superb LP mastering (straight from the master tapes) by Kevin Gray, to the superb audiophile 180g LP -Pressed by Record Technology Inc.
