

The legendary jazz saxophonist's debut album, Introducing Wayne Shorter, was originally released on Vee-Jay in 1960. It features five Shorter originals and a cover of "Mack The Knife," with Shorter joined by Lee Morgan (trumpet), Wynton Kelly (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), and Jimmy Cobb (drums).This reissue of the album is released as part of the OJC series on 180-gram vinyl pressed at RTI, with analog mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio and a Stoughton Tip-On Jacket.
